Univeristies without IELTS/TOEFL in USA

This post is especially valuable for students who have taken the IELTS and TOEFL but received a low score, or for those who simply want to get admitted to the United States without taking any IELTS or TOEFL tests. Here is a list of colleges and universities in the United States that accept students without IELTS or TOEFL scores. 1) Mississippi College – Students will be admitted ‘conditionally’ without IELTS/TOEFL results if they meet all other entrance criteria, such as GPA and GRE/GMAT, as specified by the program. Students must first enroll in the Intensive English Language Program, a preparatory language curriculum that provides comprehensive training in English abilities, and then pass the college’s English language tests before enrolling in the college’s main program.

2) University of Findlay – Students will be admitted without IELTS/TOEFL scores if they meet all other admission criteria, such as GPA and GRE/GMAT as required by the program, but they will be required to take an English Language Test after joining and complete the appropriate level of English before beginning the main program.

3) Troy University– International students who have not taken the English Proficiency Test are granted conditional admission to Troy University. (Students who do not have documentation of English proficiency will be tested once they arrive at university.) The test results will decide whether or not you are eligible for academic classes or English as a Second Language classes. Before being admitted to academic classes, ESL students must satisfy the ESL requirements. Students must meet the program’s GPA and GRE/GMAT requirements.)

4) California State University, East Bay – English Proficiency Test is not required if the student has completed his bachelor’s degree in English. The student’s GPA and GRE/GMAT scores must meet the program’s requirements.
The four colleges/universities mentioned above are well-known in the United States. So, even if you don’t have your IELTS or TOEFL scores, you don’t need to be concerned because you only need to pass your visa test and you may be set to fly high to the United States for further studies without them.
