PTE is the Pearson Test of English Academic (English language readiness test) and basically gives you the opportunity to apply for pursuing your studies in many overseas countries. These tests are taken at secure test centers with the highly secured procedures. On the day of your test, you have to show your ID card to the test administrator and get seated in a secured computer room.
What to expect on test day
When you reach the Test Centre the administrators will guide you to the check in process and they will make you comfortable with the rules and procedures and make sure you understand them before appearing for the exam. The copies of your ID and a digital photograph will be required with the signature. You are supposed to put up your belongings in the locker and get ready for the exam.
The PTE Academic Test centers are located in over 50 countries across the world. Still more test centers are getting added to improve the network and ease for the students to appear for the PTE exam.
The standard price for booking the test is INR 13,300 and a late booking price is INR 16,625

Speaking & Writing
It evaluates both the writing and speaking abilities of an aspirant. Candidates are asked to repeat sentences, answer questions and summarize given paragraph. The speaking section 1 contains a personal introduction part where the candidates have to introduce themselves within 30 seconds. However, this item is not scored, but it gives the candidates a chance to introduce themselves to the institute. On the computer screen the candidates can see a recording box and after a beep or tone, they are asked to speak immediately. Similarly, the test taker has to answer the various sections and the set of questions which appears on the computer screen one by one.
Reading
The Reading section evaluates candidates’ reading skills. Test takers encounter a set of instructions to follow which is followed by the passages given and then the candidate needs to answer the questions according to the passages.
Listening
The listening section consists of questions based on several audio clips. Part 3 comprises of questions that are completely based on audio or video clips. Candidates get to hear each audio or video clip only ONCE and are allowed to take notes to refer to and after hearing the audios the candidate needs to answer the questions as per the recordings.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
