On Sunday too, they want to rest and charge themselves for the busy and stressful week ahead. Such stories are very common in India where there is cut-throat competition in every field. Such working hours make them unhappy and insecure in life.

To conclude, anything done too much is not good. Thus, both employees and employers should have a work life balance to increase efficiency in work and happiness in life.

E-books can be downloaded on smart phones, tablets and reading devices such as Kindle and Kobo. These small, sleek and user friendly devices can store millions of e-books on all sorts of topics. Secondly, Google was introduced with the advent of internet. The search engine answers all questions and queries. People find it easy to use and it is spontaneous. On the other hand, finding right books in libraries on time can be difficult and reading through pages to find answer can be time consuming. This is one my major reason for the library shutdown in many cities.

Overseas education is gaining popularity in many countries including India. Every year thousands of Indian students go to western countries to study. While some feel that education is better than the local colleges or universities in India, others feel that it is very difficult to get an admission in reputed Indian colleges due to competition.

Studying in a foreign land brings a number of advantages. The most obvious is that it broadens our mind. English is the language of science, commerce, trade, arts, history, literature, media and entertainment. It is the languages which have connected the world.

In the end, as English is already the most widely used language throughout the world not only it helps people to communicate with each other but also it has increased the global trade and hence increased the economy also. So, in my opinion, English will remain as the dominant international language. As due to a common language English, Globalisation has happened and increasing rapidly. So we can say English and Globalisation will always show the positive correlation.

Hero worship is in our blood and today youngsters are highly influenced by the lifestyle of actors and sports personalities. Some celebrities are more famous for their glamorous lifestyle and wealth than their achievements which sometimes sets a bad example for young people. Now, it is a debatable issue that whether this imitation is good or bad?

Many youngsters, who are not mature are following all habits and behavior of their beloved celebrities to stay in the eye of the stylish world. With the advancement of E-Media, actors and sports personalities are presented through media in such a way which fascinate our teenagers easily. Involvement of celebrities in smoking advertisements, charged with drugs and other criminal activities can result in the destruction of ethical values of a society. Youngsters don’t hesitate to commit any crime for grabbing the same kind of lifestyle. In media news, many of us heard about the involvement of teenagers in bad habits to fulfill their unnecessary needs.

By seeing thin wafer models, women apply unhealthy eating habits to maintain their zero size figure. This surely affects their health in future. It is very common in the film industry for superstars to change their partner as a result extramarital affairs are considerably increasing day by day in general society.

Too much involvement in the character will lead to the problem for our youth and these kinds of behavior are the bad example for the society. It is good to entertain people by sports and celebrities but to facsimile them it is not exactly the way people should think about that.

Who does not want to roam around the world with family and friends? Due to this, enhancements in air travel increased the frequency of visiting new places. Tourism is a blessing for underdeveloped countries. The government of the respective country should properly manage the tourism department, else it is a drawback if it is not taken into consideration.

Tourism can be the main source of income if the country takes full care of their tourists. The government should take care of proper infrastructure, facilities and other necessary requirements of tourists. In many countries of Europe, tourism is the main source of revenue generation which is helpful for the development of the country. The government should utilize the natural resources in a better way to attract tourists. Tourism not only helps in creating income but also creates employment. The country like “Bali” is such a great example in front of all which is fully dependent on tourists. Their tourism changed the country’s image worldwide. On the other hand, there are many African countries which are home to African lion, which is a rare animal. Tourists do not prefer to visit underdeveloped countries due to lack of facilities and infrastructure.

To conclude, tourism is very much important for all countries because of its many advantages. It is predicted that in coming years,  tourism will reach heights by giving a great contribution to the countries economy.

We are living in the age of science where humans live, think and move in terms of science. It is evident that how the introduction of technology changes the life of human being. Talking about the innovation or technology, computers are the first thing which comes to our mind. There are so many things around us which we take for granted but changes our lifestyle. For instance, we all check our e-mails daily on our computer or on the mobile phone. Many things in the world wouldn’t function without computers, from cars to power plants to phones, so technology plays an important role in our daily lives.

The computer is invented to ease the task of humans and makes their lives easier. Computers are the greatest inventions because of its features and functions capability. The computer can minimize overall work with full accuracy. It can manipulate stored information and takes very less time to perform the desired task.

Humans have made inventions that benefits and helps them. There is not only one invention which is important than others. All of them contributes to the significant effects of change. On the other end, these inventions are having negative effects on human lives. For instance, humans are becoming unbelievably lazy and physically inactive. Outdoor playing has been replaced by gaming on computers which is creating a generation who is extremely tech savvy but physically inactive.

In nutshell, I believe that excessive use of any technology has adverse effects on all. So everybody should use the technology within their own limits, otherwise, they may suffer a lot.

Twenty years ago, only written assessment is mandatory to evaluate the student performance. But now with the introduction of sports and extracurricular activities, we can evaluate child’s performance in other ways. There is a lot of transformation in the education system for the betterment of students. To evaluate student’s performance, written exam was an essential part of the education system. Is written assessment is correct or not? Write your views.

There are many projects and assignments submitted by the students in their session period. Many parents help their children for the completion of assignments. Along with this, the project gets copied from the internet or other sources in order to complete the assignment, so this is not a reliable method to judge the student capabilities. This shows how much-written assessment is necessary because there is no involvement of child’s parent in that. Moreover written exams are to be conducted in the presence of invigilator which restricts students to take any help from an external source or from other students also. So it can be said that this can be considered as a more reliable method of testing one’s ability.

The written assessment gives the opportunity to students to express their mental strength and development. Students give their hundred percent at the end of written exams but in absence of them, the student pays less attention.

To conclude, advantages of formal testing outweighs the advantages of testing by assignments or projects. I believe this written assessment method should be implied across the globe and many countries will adopt this method because of its effectiveness.

Some people believe that government wastes too much money on space exploration and research while there are still many problems on earth. The increase in crime rates, poverty, unemployment, depression, hunger deaths are some problems we have to deal with. When there are numerous problems on earth, why is our government wasting so much money and resources on useless space exploration? Is it really a waste of time?

What if Newton had listened to those telling him that he was wasting his time and money understanding the motion of celestial bodies? There would have been no orbital mechanism. Without an orbital mechanism, there would have been no satellites. What would happen if there are no satellites? Without satellites, no instantaneous communication is possible around the world. We wouldn’t be holding smartphones in our hands, no GPS, no communication with loved ones at far away places. Satellites determine vegetation cover, patterns of rainfall, emissions of greenhouse gases, changing sizes of glaciers, monitor ocean temperatures, all which are difficult to determine from the ground level. Earth observation satellites monitor ocean and wind currents. With the gathered information, the areas prone to natural disasters are evacuated well in time, saving many lives. People stranded in remote regions are rescued.

Imagine your life if scientists had paid heed to all those mouths telling them that they were wasting their lives and had not explored space, had not launched satellites into space. A lot of people would die because of unpredictable natural disasters, no communication, no TV, no weather forecast. Those who think that a lot of money is wasted on space exploration, NASA has only cost about 1.75 times what the American military costs in one year. Is that too much? Space exploration is an investment rather than a waste of time and money. Next time you search google for anything, thank NASA and the space exploration. Without it, you wouldn’t be able to google anything.

A great number of shopping malls have established in almost all cities of the world in last few years. Due to which some people think large shopping malls are replacing small shops, they think small shops are best for purchasing day to day items while other think shopping malls are far better than small shops. In my opinion shopping in malls is better than shopping in small shops. Shopping malls are better due to following reasons.

Firstly, time management, as everything is available under one roof, you do not have to go from one place to other for buying different things, it saves your time and fuel also. Time management is the biggest issue for every person in the busy world. Secondly, you can spend the whole day in a mall. After shopping, you can watch a movie or eat at a good restaurant. At weekend it is best option to go for outing, you can go with your friends, family everyone. Children can play games there, so there is an option for everyone. For e.g. at the weekend if you have to buy grocery or other things and also want to take out for your family for outing it is the best option.

Thirdly, you will get everything original in malls. There is no chance of duplicate product and everything is available at the fixed price, bargaining has no place in malls. You can get discount on items also for e.g. In Metro, Walmart etc you mostly get the discount on items or there are other offers also like buy 2 get 1 etc. You get discount on clothes, shoes and accessories also, there are mid-season sale and other sales.

Shopping malls have also generated employment opportunities. If you want to start a business or any food outlet, malls are the best place for you to start, as many people visit malls every day, it will be good for the startup. You can easily cover their expenditure and earn the profit.

To sum up, there are many benefits of shopping malls. It saves your time, money and also create employment. Therefore I believe that shopping malls are better than small shops.

With the increase in transportation the problem of traffic, pollution and overcrowding are also increasing. It has become a serious problem for every country. There is a strong need to reduce traffic and pollution. Pollution is a serious problem which has increased due to increase in transport and it gives birth to many serious diseases which are harmful to the society. Another big problem is traffic jams, people get frustrated due to it and it results in wastage of time and fuel. That is why some people think the government should restrict one car for each family. This can work up to some extent but before implementing this rule government should focus on some other things too.

Private transportation has increased tremendously nowadays, there is some reason behind it. Firstly population has increased, secondly, there is no proper public transport for people, public transports are overcrowded and not well maintained. Due to which people prefer to go by their own vehicles. And thirdly the living standard has changed, due to a high living standard almost every middle-class family has the car. So if we say ownership of cars should be restricted to one per family that will not work effectively. To make it effective government should focus on other parameters too. The government should focus on maintaining public transport, if there will be good and well maintained and public transport only then people will prefer it over their own vehicle, also it should be easily available.

I do not fully agree with the statement that ownership of the cars should be restricted to one per family. Though I am not denying the fact that this a good solution to this problem, but we should focus on controlling the factor due to which this problem is arising. We should focus on controlling population and maintaining public transport first, after that we can think of implementing this rule. Carpooling is another good solution of the problem, it is very common nowadays.Many cabs like Uber and Ola provides this kind of facilities, it also saves money. We should also think of carpooling with our friends and family if we are going on the same route.
