As of September 22, 2023, the GRE General Test will no longer be a four-hour long test. Instead, it will be reduced to just under two hours in complete, with scores being reported more swiftly, aiding students in completing their applications promptly.
The new GRE exam is now shorter under two hours, its a significantly shorter assessment compared to the previous version, which took approximately four hours to complete.
