University of North Alabama

The University of North Alabama (UNA) is a public university located in Florence, Alabama, USA. Founded in 1830, it is the oldest public university in the state and one of the oldest higher education institutions in the United States.

UNA began as LaGrange College and evolved through several stages before becoming a full-fledged university in 1974. Today, it is a mid-sized institution with around 10,000+ students and offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.
