Study Abroad Life is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Counselor to join our team. As an Education Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding students through the process of selecting and applying to study abroad programs, as well as providing ongoing support throughout their study abroad experience.

• Provide personalized counseling to students on study abroad program options, including academic requirements, financial considerations, and cultural immersion opportunities
• Advise students on the application process for study abroad programs, including preparing application materials, submitting applications, and following up with program providers
• Assist students with securing funding for study abroad programs, including scholarships, grants, and loans
• Organize pre-departure orientation sessions for students, including information on travel, housing, and cultural adaptation
• Provide ongoing support to students throughout their study abroad experience, including troubleshooting issues and facilitating communication with program providers and academic institutions
• Assist with the development and promotion of study abroad programs and initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in education, international relations, or a related field ( Masters will preferred )
• 2+ years of experience in education counseling or related field
• Strong knowledge of study abroad programs and related processes, including academic requirements, financial considerations, and cultural immersion opportunities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience living or studying abroad preferred
