The Pearson Test of English (PTE) is a computer-based test which is becoming a widely recognized means of gauging an individual’s knowledge of the English language for academic, vocational and migration purposes around the world, especially in Australia.
The PTE test consists of four modules of Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening. The whole test can be as short as 2 hours and 45 minutes to the most extended 3 hours and 30 minutes. A preliminary result of the test is usually in the candidate’s email within 24 hours. All sections and their relevant test items are described in the following pages.
The course offers a rich collection of exercises that not only prepare the PTE candidates for the test and help them achieve a high PTE score, but these exercises also assist them in improving their general English language proficiency. These exercises are in many ways similar to the real PTE tests and together with the accompanying hints and key points, largely familiarize the candidates with what they are expected to do when taking the test.
