Conducted by ETS, the full form of TOEFL is the Test of English as a Foreign Language and the TOEFL exam is one of the most widely used English proficiency exams for candidates wanting to study abroad. The TOEFL exam pattern 2023 comprises four sections, Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing – along with the total score. The TOEFL exam has been designed to assess the test takers’ reading, listening, writing, and speaking abilities in a university setting. Because of the pandemic, ETS the conducting body of the TOEFL exam has launched the TOEFL at Home for candidates looking to take the TOEFL test during the pandemic from the safety of their homes. ETS has also resumed the TOEFL Test on Paper in India to help provide larger access to candidates looking to appear for the TOEFL exam. Candidates planning to take the TOEFL test would be required to pay US$195 for all three formats of the test, TOEFL iBT, TOEFL at Home, and the TOEFL paper-delivered test.
